In the heart of a pretty hamlet called Nethercott on the spectacular North Devon coast, this 2-bed cottage barn conversion has been newly converted into a luxury holiday let.
Sleeping up to 4 people across two ensuite bedrooms this property has everything you could possibly want from a country / sea side staycation. The Long House Barn is also pet friendly.
Wake up to the birds singing each morning and the stream flowing. What more could you ask for?

As you drive into Nethercott you will soon see the Long House & Long House Barn. You wont be able to miss the property with it being the longest house in Nethercott.
Make your way to the gate and up the gravel drive where you’ll find your designated parking space for the Barn.
Upon entering, you’re instantly wowed by a glorious living space, stripped back to the original beams. This cosy living room offers an L shaped sofa and a smart tv with sounds bar, perfect for those cosy evenings after exploring the coastline.
Take a left and you’ll find yourself in the luxury kitchen. You will find everything you could possibly need to cook up a special meal. The kitchen has full integrated appliances, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge / freezer, coffee machine. There is dining for up to 6 people, making it a spacious space to enjoy everything you have cooked.
The Long House Barn has two bedrooms.
One being on the ground floor- this is a king size bedroom, offering a smart TV and storage. You also have the added bonus of a patio door onto the garden. Perfect for those summer mornings enjoying a cuppa in bed with the door open listening to the birds chirping and the stream flowing. The down stairs bedroom also has a family style ensuite. Offering a high top spec bath with shower over the top, sink and toilet. Perfect place to unwind after a day exploring.
Upstairs you will find the second bedroom.
Please note this bedroom can be made into a SUPERKING OR TWIN. Please let us know your preferred configuration upon booking. The second bedroom offers and ensuite shower room.
The fresh, natural palette & textured linens throughout the property strike that perfect balance between calm and cosy. Making it feel like a property out of The White Company or Neptune catalogue.
Outside you will find a fenced in patio / garden area with seating to enjoy a summer evening dining outside and using our charcoal bbq (Charcoal not provided).
What else could you possibly ask for?
As for the location, even Kirsty and Phil couldn’t have done better. Everything you could possibly want from a North Devon escape is all within a short drive, from brilliant local pubs and pretty quaint villages to coastline walks, spectacular beaches and secret coves. Best of all, Saunton Beach – one of Devon’s most beautiful beaches – is an easy short drive away.
We are happy to accept 2 well behaved dogs at an extra cost of £25.00 per dog.
Guest access:
Guests have access to the whole property, with no ‘live in’ owner.
Other things to note:
Bed linen and towels will be provided and freshly laundered prior to your arrival. A travel cot and highchair can also be provided upon your request.
Check in is from 16:00 and check out is before 10:00.
We have a great relationship with other companies in the Woolacombe/Croyde area and have put together a comprehensive guide with our recommendations from pubs to surf schools. We can also arrange certain activities for you such as surfing lessons with leading surf schools and professional sponsored surf instructors, coasteering and horse riding lessons.
