Wake up to the sound of birds singing and the stillness of the countryside in this stunning barn that sits on the North Devon Coast.  You are within a 5 minutes drive of the award-winning beach of Saunton Sands; prestigious 36 hole championship golf course; and in the other direction the shops, cafes and restaurants in the charming village of Braunton.  After long days of exploring, bathing and surfing, return to Saunton Cottage to watch the sunset over Braunton Burrows and Saunton Sands Beach. 

Kitchen –
A stylish luxury kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cook up a meal for you and your party.

Lounge –
Large living room with incredible views down the valley toward Saunton Beach.
Luxury sofa plenty of space for all the family to gather with a smart tv on the wall making it the perfect set up for movie nights after a relaxing day on the beach or by our pool.

Bedroom 1 –
Bedroom 1 is a king size bedroom with wardrobe & patio doors to the front of the property. Bedroom 1 also benefits from an ensuite short room with his & hers sinks.

Bedroom 2-
Bedroom 2 can sleep 2 / 3 people. With a double bed and single bunk bed. Making it a perfect bedroom for kids or a couple with a small infant.

Bedroom 3-
Bedroom 3 is a twin room with a desk and chest of draws.

Bedroom 4-
Bedroom 4 is the last king size bedroom. With a large window letting plenty of light in this is my favourite room in the property. You will also have an ensuite shower room in bedroom 4 again with his and hers sink.

Family Bathroom –
New family bathroom suite with a shower over the bath. Perfect to wash off all the sand after a day on the beach.

Garden / Pool

Saunton Cottage has a private patio area with seating to enjoy the evening sunsets. You will have use to a bbq.

There is also secure storage onsite for bicycles and a covered area for surf equipment and wetsuits.

Follow the signs up the path to the spacious communal garden where you’ll find a children’s play area and seating to enjoy the stunning elevated views. At the bottom of the garden you’ll discover the large, heated swimming pool. Securely fenced, the pool is open to all guests from 8am – 8pm/dusk between May – October. Please note no lifeguards are on duty, children must be supervised by an adult at all times. If an emergency arises, you’ll find the safety float on the fence at the bottom end of the pool as well as a first aid kit. Call 999 for assistance if an emergency does arise.  

Being able to have your own vehicle with you on holiday is just one of the benefits of the staycation. With so many of us trying to be ‘greener’, the rise of electric vehicles is very much on the go. Luckily, South Lobb Cottages has installed an EV charging point, so you can sleep soundly knowing your car will be charged and ready for the next day’s adventures.

Guest access;
Guests have access to the whole property, with no ‘live in’ owner.

Other things to note
Bed linen and towels will be provided and freshly laundered prior to your arrival. A travel cot and highchair can also be provided upon your request.
Check in is from 16:00 and check out is before 09:00.

We can also arrange certain activities for you such as surfing lessons with leading surf schools and professional sponsored surf instructors, coasteering and horse riding lessons.
